Today Ryan played photographer and took some amazing pictures of my baby bump for me. I really appreciate him doing that, I know I can get a little crazy :) with my photos, and I think it is so great that my husband is so supportive of one of my passions. He was getting into it, picking out locations to take pictures and telling me how to pose! haha, it was a nice thing to share together, and I am happy we got to do it. I know I will look at those pictures and look back to today and remember what a great day we had together!!!!!!! love you Ry so much, Owen is so lucky to be getting you as a dad...and I am pretty lucky too to have you as my best friend :)

Bradleys' and McDonoughs' visit!!!
***********************************************************************************
My sister, Doug, Cole, Macy, and my parents all came up this weekend to visit. I bought Erin a ticket for a Navy Pier booze/dinner cruise for her birthday in Feb., so her, Doug, Ryan, and I all went Saturday night. We had a really good time, Erin and Doug enjoyed the DJ and dancing (I even got out there on the dance floor for one song! haha) It was really cool because the cruise went away Navy Pier and the views of Chicago were so cool. Unfortunately, my Nikon camera battery was dead, so I just brought my little digital so the skyline photos I wanted to get came out all blurry :( Oh well. There was supppose to be fireworks as well from Navy Pier, but they canceled them, not really sure why because they weather was really nice at that time. But we still had a really good time, and definitely something different and fun! My parents were kind enough to babysit Macy and Cole for Erin and Doug, so that was really nice as well. We celebrated my mom's birthday before we left Saturday night, Ry and I grilled out and we all got to sit outside and enjoy our backyard. Today we went to a local park here in Northbrook, and then went out to eat before everyone headed home. I had a mini photo shoot this morning with everyone, so the next blog will have some of those pictures! :)

McKees' & Kings' visit!
*******************************************************************************
Ryan's parents came up to visit on Friday and brought their friends, Randy and Cindy King with them. We just hung out Friday on our back porch and enjoyed our backyard & ordered Lou Malnati's pizza. They all got to meet our new neighbor, the stupid skunk that is living under our shed!!!!!!!!!!!! He ran out from under there when we all were hanging out, so we got to see where he is hiding. Poor Guinness got sprayed Monday night by that stupid creature, and it took like 10 baths with all sorts of mixtures to get him to smell better. He is still a little hesitate to venture around our yard and go to the bathroom, we have to walk outside with him now.
Saturday we went to CUBS vs. PHILLY's game at Wrigley. It was a sunny day but super HOT! Luckily, our seats were in the shade, but it still was hot. I was a sweaty mess by the end of the game. I think Owen really enjoys the games too :) because he was NON-stop kicking throughout the game! Unfortunately, the CUBS lost after leading up until the 9th inning...the Philly's scored 4 runs in the 9th inning and we were not able to come back :( We all went to a bar afterwards for a bit, then heading back to our house. Ryan pulled a "Kaitlin" and busted his toe on a sewer drain while we were walking around Wrigley. His poor toe nail is going to fall off, just like mine did last year at a CUBS game when I ran into a barricade. But besides that he is okay! :) It was definitely nice to have more visitors to our home and we had a good time, and hope everyone else did too! We look forward to the next following weekends for even more visitors!!! :)

Darren and Julie Monke
*******************************************************************************
Ryan was in Darren and Julie's wedding this past weekend. I was not able to make their ceremony, but made it after Jessica's wedding for their reception. I heard the wedding was beautiful, but unfortunately, something super scary and sad happened right before the reception. Julie's dad, Jim, had a massive heart attack right outside of the reception at the Columbia Club. Ryan's mom, Lu, assisted him until the ambulance came (which came super fast). Darren and Julie went to the hospital to make sure her dad was okay, but were able to come back to the reception. They kept updating everyone throughout the evening from the hospital, but you could definitely tell Julie just wanted to be with her dad (I completely understand that!) Her mom gave the Father of the Bride speech and Julie's grandpa danced with her for the Father/Daughter dance. They were able to go see him after the reception, and sent out an update today, and he is doing MUCH BETTER!! Please keep Julie's dad, and the whole Wolf/Monke family in your prayers. I know too well what Julie is going through, and we are constantly thinking of them all, praying for a quick recovery!
Jessica and Jared Owens
We were there early and I stayed throughout the ceremony, but had to leave early to go to Darren and Julie's wedding. It was such a nice day with old friends, and so great to FINALLY see Jared and Jessica tie the knot. They have two beautiful children together, Grayson and Elenor...and you could just see the love between them and love for their kids. I am so happy for them, CONGRATS Jessica and Jared!!!!!!!!!!!
31 week 3D ultrasound!!!
Looks just like Ryan in this picture!!! So clear!!!
Showing off a little smile and his bicep :)

Thursday night Ryan and I headed home to Noblesville. Ryan was in his good friend, Darren's, wedding, and I also had a wedding to attend this past weekend (will send out pics next blog). Brad Salyer's mom, Renee, offered to give us a free 3D ultrasound at her work in Noblesville, so on Friday my mom, Ryan's mom, me, Cole, and Macy headed over to the hospital together. (Ryan was doing groomsmen duties, so was not able to come, but Renee made me a DVD of the whole ultrasound, so he was able to see everything!) It was so awesome! I was almost in tears when I saw Owen up there, he looks like a real baby, like I could just grab him through the TV and hold him! He was opening and closing his eyes, yawning, sticking out his tongue, all so surreal in 3D. Cole was a little confused, he kept asking if Owen was gonna come out and play, and he would look at the TV and then at my belly, trying to figure it all out. Soo cute!Renee also went through all his organs, spine, brain, heart, etc. and said everything looked good and healthy, so that was nice to hear and see. HE IS DEFINITELY a BOY! He is 4lbs and now measuring at a September 7th due date!!! wow, I still think I will go around the 15th, but who knows, the date always is changing!!!
