Ryan gave me this necklace (that I basically wear every day still) 10 years ago...now Owen likes to put his little finger through the heart when I hold him...so special to me!

my best friend, Lydia, took Owen's newborn pictures last Friday for us, and they turned out AMAZING!! Above are my favorite shots, but I really do just love all of the photos. Thank you Lydia for doing such an awesome job!

Quick update on Owen: we went to the pediatrician today, and Owen weighs 7 lbs, 4.5 oz. so he is above his birth weight now at 2 weeks, 2 days! That made me feel better because everyone keeps telling me how skinny he is, but he is definitely eating well and gaining weight!!!

Went by my work this past week to show off Owen and see all my c0-workers, and I got to meet Gabriel, my co-worker, Rebeca's new baby boy....Rebeca and I were pregnant together and only 19 days apart!

Owen LOVED listening to Dave while I was pregnant with him...I would put it on, and he would start kicking and punching me like crazy...well as you can see with this video, he is doing the same thing when he hears it on the outside! He was giggling and smiling throughout too, I tried to capture that, in fact, I changed him while listening to it, and that is when he usually SCREAMS like crazy, but instead, he was just grooving to the music and enjoying himself...definitely going to use the music more often! Enjoy!

Well, most of you knew this may be coming, but I can finally OFFICIALLY say Ryan got the job offer in Indiana and we have accepted it, so let the madness begin! :) We put the house up for sale officially on Monday, and they had a professional photographer come out to take pictures of the house, and I think they came out really well. If you all know of ANYONE looking for a house in the northern suburbs of Chicago, please send them this link of my blog or any of the links below of the realtor companies websites of the house...the sooner we get this house sold, the sooner Ryan, Owen, Guinness, and I can start our life back home together in Indiana!!!!! Please keep us in your prayers through this crazy, exciting time in our lives, really unsure, we love our house and think it is so nice, but with this market, who knows what will happen!!! It is funny, we had just bought our house when we found out we were pregnant with Owen, and NOW we had Owen and we find out we have to sell it!!! It really is a great house, we both are very sad to move out :( I wish we could just pick the house up and move it with us, but I am excited to find a house in Indiana for A LOT cheaper than the market up here in Chicagoland!

Hospital Photo shoot pics

Owen's mini professional hospital photo shoot-1 day old! (sorry about the million postings, you all know I am photo happy, so bare with me and my blogging! hahaha, I am just so happy and want you all to see him since we are so far away from everyone!!!). My best friend, Lydia, is going to be doing our newborn photo shoot this coming Friday, so I am excited to get those shots done...and of course, out to you all :)

I CAN FIT INTO A PAIR OF MY PRE-PREGO JEANS!!!!!!!!! Made me very happy! But they didn't last on me for very long...hahaha! still recovering, but feeling better!

Go CUBS!!! My wide-eyed baby boy! He is doing really well, he sleeps at night for 3-4 hour stretches (thank goodness) and is breast-feeding well....here's hoping that LASTS! Just taking it day by day, I don't want to jinx it!!!!! Now if I could only SLEEP when he sleeps, I am still recovering, and it is hard for me to get comfortable, so I am usually awake while my two blonde boys and Guinness are snoring away!!! haha, but each day it is getting easier and less painful.
